US Government Organisation Completes Two-Week Migration Leveraging Precision Bridge

A US government organisation migrated incident data, together with associated work notes, comments, and attachments, from an on-premise Ivanti Neurons environment to cloud-based ServiceNow. Having previously used the Precision Bridge Data Migration and Management Platform, the organisation returned to Precision Bridge for this project based on familiarity with the platform and confidence in its capabilities.

Key Project Considerations

Ivanti's underlying structure spanned multiple interconnected systems, requiring careful navigation across numerous linked tables to ensure work notes and attachments matched correctly to their corresponding incident records. The project also ran on a two-week timeframe leading up to a scheduled go-live date. Service requests were intentionally left out of scope for this phase and retained in the organisation's archive.

Delivering the Migration

The organisation's team led the migration using the Precision Bridge Data Migration and Management Platform, working through the complex table relationships within Ivanti to ensure incidents, work notes, comments, and attachments were correctly linked and carried across to ServiceNow. Precision Bridge's support team provided responsive assistance throughout, helping keep the migration on schedule.

The migration was fully completed in two weeks, with all incidents, associated data and attachment migrated ahead of go-live.
